Ahead of Saturday’s clash with Frosinone, Piotr Zielinski shared his thoughts with Radio Kiss Kiss.

"We’re focused on Frosinone – we want three points," he said.

"The win in Bergamo was important and now we need to build up some consistency. The slip up against Chievo was a lesson to us.

"On Saturday we’ll need to give everything to get the result we want."

When asked about the Champions League crunch match with Liverpool, he replied: "We will think about that from Sunday, because we want to perform on Saturday.

"Frosinone will be tight at the back and we know how hard such defences can be to break down."

After Arek Milik’s contribution last time out, Zielinski said he was pleased for his international team-mate: "The goal was precious and important. He deserved that moment because he works so hard and gives everything in training."

As for how he’s enjoying life at Napoli, having now reached his third season at the club, the midfielder added: "I’m happy here – I know I need to grow and improve day by day. I don’t always manage to show my full capabilities and I want to be more consistent.

"Carlo Ancelotti has a winning mentality and transmits that to us every day. He’s a special person who talks to all the players. He gives us excitement and confidence, and I think we can go far with him."

Finally, when asked about the trip to Anfield, he said: “We know it’s a match that means a great deal.

"We’ve done really well in Europe until now, in a group with top-level sides.

"We’ll put everything into the game – if we play as well as we can, we’re confident we can pull it off."
