Ancelotti expects mature Napoli display against Chievo

Carlo Ancelotti has warned Napoli must show maturity as they look to hit the ground running again after the international break.

The Azzurri face a run of fixtures which, on paper, seem easier than those faced in the first part of the season, but the coach is adamant his side much continue to focus on one match at a time and take nothing for granted.

"It's a good opportunity for us to close the gap on the leaders and try to qualify from our Champions League group. We shouldn't be looking at the fixture list though because every match is difficult and you first have to play them before you can win them. Chievo have a new coach so we don't have a lot to go on.”

Juve are six points ahead – not a huge amount.

“I don't think we should be making any calculations right now. Tomorrow will be another test of our maturity because we've had a two-week break and we need to get straight back into our stride. Juventus have won every game so far and drawn just one – credit to them for that. We have to focus on our own jobs and keep improving.”

Is it a case of either Arek Milik or Dries Mertens?

"We haven't had problems scoring goals so both are doing well. Players might go through periods of better or worse form but I'm very happy with our attacking options. They don't need to prove anything as far as I'm concerned. I know how good they are.”

Who will start up front tomorrow?

"I haven't decided on the line-up yet. I have various options and I'm happy with them all. It tough to choose between players and it's hard to leave anyone on the bench.”

The San Paolo will be full, which shows the fans are enthusiastic...

"It's great to have 50,000 fans at the stadium. It means our fans are on the same page as the team. Having a big crowd behind us is huge boost. I have a group of very professional players who give 100% on the pitch and the fans appreciate that. We're able to read games and adapt. We play with quality in possession and we can dig in when needed. You must be able to adapt to the different stages of the game. I like the solidity and character we play with.”
